Welcome wine-cocktail; typical country dinner in a country inn.
Overnight at the hotel.
2nd day: B-L-D-O
Departure for Alba, visit of the town and transfer to the Estate
Marchesi di Gresy in Barbaresco, for an excursion in the
vineyards and in the cellar with Langa wines tasting; little country
lunch in the rooms of the estate and meeting with the laces woman;
excursion along the wines road towards Cisterna d’Asti, to visit
the Castle and the museum of ancient crafts, country tools and local
traditions. Typical dinner in a country inn, transfer to hotel.
Overnight.
3rd day: B-L-D-O
Transfer to Asti market to buy the ingredients for the cookery
lesson, preparation of a typical seasonal menu chiefly made with
truffles; lunch with the prepared lesson menù; lern how to combine wine
with the Piedmont menu and on the use of typical wines for the creation
of wine cocktails. Meeting with the “tartufaio” (truffle hunter)
and his dog; gala dinner with typical dishes embellished with
truffles.
4th day: B-L
Transfer in a village near Asti to participate to the Asti and
Alba White Truffle Fair; lunch with truffle dishes in a typical
restaurant.
